Wines from the Panzano area at an event organized by the Panzano grape-growers consortium, which for years has been promoting totally organic viticulture throughout the territory. Last year, together with the town council, it created the first Italian Organic Grape District.
An event featuring winemakers from throughout Chianti Classico. Purchasing a tasting glass engraved with the number of the edition you can sample the wines from a selection of more than 50 exhibitors in the splendid setting of the Greve in Chianti piazza. An event the town council organizes with the participation of the Greve’s traditional 8 neighborhoods. Over the years the town’s territory has divided into 8 “quarters”, taking their names from the place they represent: TORRE, PIAZZA, S. ANNA, IL PINO, LA FONTE, ETRUSCO, I CASTELLI, S. FRANCESCO. Every year a shared theme links the 8, whose inhabitants (more than 700 people) parade through town.

In May and June, all eight of the Chianti Classico communities will be hosting concerts of choral music. The scheduling will be defined in February/March.
For more than 40 years this event has been drawing antique dealers and used-object vendors from all over Tuscany to the piazza and neighboring streets of Greve in Chianti. Flea market fans and serious collectors flock to the town to browse and buy on this holiday Monday.
