The patron saint’s fete has great appeal for both residents and vacationers in the area. Held in the town’s main piazza and public gardens, it offers some 60 vendors stalls. fireworks at 11 pm.

Five to six evening (7 pm to midnight) events in July and August with an open-air market of local handicrafts, roving musicians, food stalls at the Parco delle Casce, and shops and Archeological Museum open late.
In the first two weeks of July, a longstanding event for the four communities in Sienese Chianti, with theater, music and dance performed by Italian and foreign artistes. For 2013 there will be four different events, one in each community. The festival program will be defined in February/March.
