Still today in the Antica Fattoria di Niccolò Machiavelli in Sant’Andrea in Percussina, you can visit the House where Niccolò Machiavelli (1469-1527) secretary of the Florentine Republic until 1498 wrote “The Prince”, the work that made him famous.In the vineyards of Fontalle and Poggio grow grapes which can produce wine of exceptional quality such as the Chianti Classico of Vigna di Fontalle. Many small barrels of precious oak slowly refine, as in those days, the vermiglio Chianti Classico of the Fontalle vines.

The atmosphere, which has been preserved intact over the centuries, allows the guest to taste the typical dishes of the country tradtion and the prestigious Machiavelli wines.
